Virgil L. Huey, son of Edward and Blanche (Ford) Huey.
Brother to,,Arthur,,Kenneth,,Edward,,Judy,,Nancy,and Pauline.
Virgil has 5 daughters,Diana,,Janice,,Susan,,Toni,,Melody and 1 son Ted.
3 step daughters,,Nila,,Kathy,,Peggy,,and 1 stepson Larry, and many grandchildren
Virg,worked for 23 years at EPC in Geneva Indiana, untill he retired in 1993.
He was a proud U S Army veteran,with the rank of,,Sgt(T)RA Inf, at the time of his discharge,,serving from 1949 to 1952
Virgil, was (and still is very much loved by his family and many friends). Even though it has been 15 years now , We miss him terribly. There has been a great void in our lives with his passing.He was a wonderful Father and (Stepfather) to his children. And his Grandchildren adored him.I know, that anyone who knew and loved him has never forgotten what a wonderful,,fun,,thoughtful,,helpful,,loving,,man Virg was. And I am sure "just like me" they all smile when a memory of Our Dad, comes to thier mind.

WE DO NOT NEED A SPECIAL DAY
We do not need a special day
To bring you to our minds.
The days we do not think of you
Are very hard to find.
Each morning when we awake,
We know that you are gone.
And no one knows the heart ache
As we try to carry on.
Our hearts still ache with sadness
And secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you
No one will ever know.
Our thoughts are always with you,
Your place no one can fill.
In life we loved you dearly;
In death we love you still.
There will always be a heartache,
And often a silent tear.
But always a precious memory
Of the days when you were here.
If tears could make a staircase,
And heartaches make a lane,
We'd walk the path to heaven
And bring you home again.
We hold you close within our hearts;
And there you will remain,
To walk with us throughout our lives
Until we meet again.
Our family chain is broken now,
And nothing seems the same,

Glowing with the sheer delight
Of the joy that's brought on Christmas day

When the snow falls on the ground
They're happy children all around
Building snowmen with coal eyes so black

The Christmas story is a happy one
